6/7/2018: Junkyardfieldtrip w/ Mike and Mel of Violet Mary
Formed at the beginning of 2014, Junkyardfieldtrip was originally put together as a songwriting vehicle for Mike Gladstone and Rob Smith. After adding one of western NY's top rhythm sections (Emmett Ientilucci and Don Torpy), the band started playing acoustic shows around the Rochester, NY area. Eventually the band started writing and playing more electric material. Over the last few years, Junkyardfieldtrip has quickly become one of the region's most in-demand, eclectic bands, being nominated by City Newspaper's Best of Rochester award for best band. In the summer of 2017, the band played the prestigious Fairport Music Festival. In March 2018, the band signed with Spectra Records. With outstanding musicianship, memorable original material and cool and unexpected covers and remakes, JYFT is not to be missed!
Violet Mary is the groovy, indie musical love child of Mike and Mel Muscarella. Backed by a rotating cast of characters including Joe Myers (drums), Brennan Terry (bass) and Jason Tortorici (guitar), the band has embraces styles as diverse as blues, soul, indie pop, rock, and alt folk. Violet Mary has shared stages with such acts as moe., Dawes, and The Gin Blossoms, and has been featured in Elmore Magazine, Fireworks (London, UK) and Relix Magazine. The band also works directly with The Ugandan Water Project to provide solutions to the water crisis facing Ugandan students, raising over $23,000 for clean water in the past three years.
7/19/2018: Branded w/ Paul Cummings
Branded is one of the premier modern country bands in Western New York. This versatile group of musicians brings energy and excitement to today’s hottest chart topping hits. Not only does Branded capture the sound and creativity of today’s top country’s artists, they bring an atmosphere fun to there shows and engage the audience in a way that is all their own.
The members of Branded come from a wide range of musical backgrounds including Rock, Blues, Jam Band and of course Country. Their intangible chemistry takes the band well beyond their individual musical ability. Ken, Rick, Anthony, Dave and Ben bring experience and a burning passion to energize the audience everywhere they perform.
Paul Cummings is no stranger to the Rochester music scene. From 2008 – 2013, his band CrossRoads played at many of the hot venues in and around Rochester and opened for many national country acts along the way. Paul is most known for the way he combines the Volunteer Fire Service with his music, most notable, “The Firefighter Song”. In 2013, he toured the country coast-to-coast playing at over one hundred fire stations across the country trying to raise awareness for fire companies struggling with attracting and retaining volunteers.
Paul still plays out but not near as much as he used to. You can usually catch him playing solo at a few area venues, firehouses, or alongside singer/songwriter Worthy Duncan. He brings together some original music with some of your favorite covers. He grew up in Honeoye, NY and currently resides in Riga, NY with his wife, son, and daughter
8/2/2018: Something Else w/ Amy Montrois Trio
The Amy Montrois Trio plays a mix of cover tunes ranging from pop and country, to alternative rock. Bands covered include Grace Potter, Jason Mraz, Pearl Jam, Miranda Lambert and more. She loves to experiment with many different genres, and is often complimented for the wide variety of songs in her set list.

8/16/2018: Teagan and the Tweeds w/ Neil Van Dorn Trio
If you’ve yet to experience the soul-grooving, body-moving, spirit-soothing sound of Teagan and the Tweeds, you don’t know what you’re missing. Don’t let their collegiate-clad name fool you; this band is anything but stodgy and conservative. A six-piece ensemble that includes a Hammond organ and pedal-steel guitar, the Tweeds rock a blues-country-folk vibe that fills a venue like nobody’s business. With their consistently high-energy performances and wide-ranging musical appeal, Teagan and the Tweeds have amassed an impressive following in and around Rochester, attracting new admirers at every show. They offer a remarkable array of originals and pay due homage to greats like Janis Joplin, Patsy Cline, Aretha Franklin, and Stevie Wonder in a well-handled selection of crowd-pleasing covers. 8/30/2018: MoChester w/ Aaron Rizzo Trio
MoChester is a 4-piece rock-reggae driven band from Rochester, NY. The band's name is actually a fusion of the city it started in and Motown, one of its original influences. While the Motown groove provided early inspiration for the group, their current sound has a mainstream flair that has been compared to a blend of O.A.R. and Incubus, with a west coast swagger reminiscent of The Dirty Heads and Sublime. Their arsenal of original material stretches across numerous genres, from their anthemic groove-rock single “Crackerjack Tattoos”, to the reggae-infused jam “Saturday Night”.
The members of MoChester consists of Brandon Sheffer on lead vocals and guitar, Jonathan Sheffer on keys, guitar and backup vocals, Ben Overmyer on bass guitar, and Alex Melville on drums. The band was originally formed in 2001, and has released 3 studio albums, "Stop and Go", "Lost and Found", and most recently, "More Than It Seems". The full catalogue shows a progression from a more acoustic singer-songwriter based approach, to their more current songs that have a "poppy" rock-reggae sound.
Aaron Rizzo is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and recording engineer born and raised in Rochester, NY. Self recorded, mixed and produced, Aaron Rizzo's debut album "Blck Tee Shrt" hit stores on January 15th, 2017. Aaron Rizzo studies the art of music recording under the direction of Alex Perialas and Michael Caporizzo. Influences range from John Mayer to BJ The Chicago Kid, as he pays respects to genres such as blues, rock, R&B, pop and hip-hop.
Aaron Rizzo began his musical career playing in various rock, blues and jazz bands, later graduating into a pursuit of a solo career. Rizzo began playing guitar at the age of nine, later to hunt mastery in other instruments including drums, bass, piano and voice. Aaron Rizzo draws much of his influence not from guitar players, but drummers. Figures like Steve Jordan, Mike Miley and Carter Beauford all have made their way into Rizzo's musical works.
